Top Android Apps To Free up your Device Space

Android phones and Tablets can fill up quickly as you download and install apps, fill them with media files and catch data for offline use. At some point of time all of us who are using android smart phone may have come cross situation where we start lagging behind storage space, I did not understand how come my storage space were disappearing .

Low-end device may only include few gigabytes of storage. In this situation we start deleting files one by one by searching unnecessary files. This process is not efficient one.  The trick is finding cleaner apps that actually live up to their promise. At best, a bad cleaner app clogs up disk space, at worst; it could infect you with malware and viruses. Not all cleaner apps are useless, however, so I’m going to help find the ones worth using.

Clean Master (Free)

The first one in my list is Clean Master. This is really a high performance application that helps you in deleting temp apk files, image thumbnails, catch files and history files and any other unnecessary file from your android device.

Dose your device overheating? Use the Device cooler that kills apps that are using too much CPU and draining  your battery.

CCleaner (Free)

Yes, it’s the same CCleaner that’s used to reclaim desktop disk space. Like Clean Master, CCleaner is a multifunctional app that does its best to analyze and clean up stray files that no longer have any business taking up your precious space. To that end, it’s pretty good.

The main function is the Cleaner feature that can wipe cache data from apps, purge empty folders, and delete browser and phone histories. The App Manager is a simple interface for picking multiple apps for uninstallation.

No root is necessary and it’s completely free. It may be a bit light on the features, thus being overshadowed by Clean Master, but it’s a good alternative if all you need is a quick way to reclaim your phone’s storage space.

Startup Manager (Free)

Startup Manager aims at helping disable or enable startup items from system boot for android devices including smartphone and tablets. You can speed up your phone’s boot time if you remove the unnecessary apps from startup list using Startup Manager.

Startup manager detects all apps that run at startup, including both system apps and user installed apps. Removing an app is just one tap is needed. And if you’re worried about needing a rooted device, rest assured. Startup manager works on non-rooted device just fine.

Root App Delete (Uninstaller)

If you are one of them who install lot of apps and after some time don’t use  them then this application is very useful for you as it helps you find and delete apps that you are not using anymore. But this app designed for root user or rooted device only. So non rooted device can not use this application.

History Eraser (Free)

History Eraser can clean history of apps by only one tap. It’s similar to the “ccleaner” on PC. It can help you to protect your privacy, and it can also help you to free up the internal storage

With a single tap, you can clear any of the following: browser history, call logs, text messages, search history, download history, app cache files, clipboard data, and more. All of this works perfectly well on non-rooted devices.

The free version of History Eraser is supported by ads, but you can remove them by upgrading to the paid version. Paid version is cost around $2.
